UNC faces a turning point as talk swirls around a potential 24-team College Football Playoff expansion. Could an 8-4 Tar Heels squad find themselves in the postseason hunt, or does this seismic shift risk diluting college football’s elite competition? Isaac Schade and Anthony Pagnotta tackle everything from revenue imbalance between conferences to whether the ACC and programs like Carolina truly benefit—or just get lost in the shuffle.
The conversation pivots to a must-win matchup: North Carolina vs. Duke for the Victory Bell. With injuries decimating UNC’s secondary and key players like Duke's Nate Sheppherd posing threats, the Tar Heels’ path to bowl eligibility hangs in the balance. Sharp analysis covers Billy Edwards Jr.’s passing consistency, offensive line concerns, and who must step up at wide receiver and running back. Will Carolina seize control in Durham, or will depth and discipline decide their postseason fate?
