What do you get when you take a French noble women and marry her to a Scottish king? A headache for the English. At just twenty-two, Yolande was thrust into the world of Scottish politics when she was married to the ageing king of Scotland, who had unfortunately lost almost every heir he had. Yolande's story had everything a dramatic death, a theory of an imposter baby, and, well, the English trying to screw everyone over.
