We're still not over the fact that Israel was actually a blessing that was bestowed upon Jacob by God and it means "overcome" and that the proof of Israel is 12 tribes - Jacob had 12 sons who eventually became the 12 tribes and Jesus had 12 disciples who are addressed as "12 tribes" in James 1:1.
