62nd Chicago International Film Festival

Lights, camera, CHICAGO!

We’re rolling out the red carpet for the 62nd Chicago International Film Festival!

Running October 14–25, North America’s longest-running competitive film festival once again brings filmmakers and movie lovers from around the world to enjoy global & local storytelling.

We sat down with CIFF Programmers Sophie Gordon and Nicola McCafferty. Get an inside look at what went into curating this year’s lineup and the films they’re most excited about.

We also dive into the Festival’s more than 60-year history and how it has evolved with the moving picture. Plus, we highlight how the festival boosts local filmmakers and communities.

We end with their favorite movie snacks, most-watched films, and dream red carpet encounter!
