Carl Gombrich (@carlgomb on twitter) was professorial teaching fellow of interdisciplinary education at UCl, pioneering the arts and sciences course, and is now the academic lead and head of teaching at the university which he is also a founding member of – https://www.londoninterdisciplinaryschool.org/. Carl holds Master’s degree’s in both theoretical and mathematical physics as well as philosophy and in case you thought he skills weren’t diverse enough – he was also a royal opera house scholar at the National opera house studio. Our conversation stretched far and wide and we touched on several fascinating topics and issues of the modern day; from the mystical nature of human consciousness to asking and answering why do we learn?
