The history of the Church of Trinitatis is closely linked to the history of the town of Fredericia. During the Three-Year-War in 1848-50, the church was used as a field hospital and accommodation for the prisoners from Slesvig-Holstein.
At the cemetery, two large warrior graves bear witness of Fredericia’s dramatic history.
