An unbeaten 127-run third-wicket partnership from New Zealand women's cricketers Georgia Plimmer and Maddy Green has failed to thwart Australia in their opening T20 in Sydney.

The White Ferns posted 162 for two, and the hosts reached the target with two wickets and seven balls to spare.
