John Mellencamp Concert - 7/18/26

he Slamfest Podcast brings the premier rock concert pregaming experience from the parking lot to the podcasting airwaves. 

Episode 319 - Brad saw his ninth show of 2026 - and it almost didn't happen.  He was scheduled to see John Mellencamp for the first time on 7/15/26 at Pine Knob Amphitheatre in Clarkston, MI but this show was cancelled due to poor air quality from the Canadian wildfires.  He did some quick research and secured a ticket to see him 3 days later on 7/18/26 at the Ruoff Music Theater in Noblesville, IN.  For the Band on the Bill Spotlight, he puts "80's" John Mellencamp hits up against "90's" John Mellencamp hits and chooses his favorite.  After a Slamfest Tip of the Week, he is faced with a variation of the "Which Side are you On?" segment with John Mellencamp's two best selling studio albums,  Side 1 from John Mellencamp's 5th studio album, American Fool, from 1982 or Side 1 from John Mellencamp's 8th studio album, Scarecrow, from 1985.
