Lord Kṛṣṇa and Rukmiṇī's newborn son, Pradyumna, is kidnapped by the demon Śambara and thrown into the sea. Rescued in an extraordinary way, he grows up in the demon's own palace until the sage Nārada reveals his true identity and destiny. Based on Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 10.55.1–16.
