Ryan and I have been sharing pieces of our IVF journey with you along the way, but we've never sat down and told the whole story sharing the failure moments. Start to finish. Nothing skipped, nothing softened. This is that episode.
We're talking about our first full IVF cycle. The mismanagement, the miscommunications, the wrong trigger script, being hospitalised the day after transfer, getting gaslit about my own body more times than I can count, bleeding for two weeks straight, losing our first embryo .. and everything that happened in between that we never fully unpacked on the mic until now.
We also get into why we made the call to switch doctors, what we actually found out was likely behind the failed transfer, and where we're at heading into our second transfer next month.
I want to be clear, this isn't an attack on anyone. It's our story. And after sharing online that we'd switched doctors, tens of women came forward and said thank god someone is finally telling the truth. So here it is. All of it.
