Bill Hein began in the independent record scene and went on to found Enigma Records and later Restless Records, signing and developing artists such as Mötley Crüe, Poison, The Smithereens, Stryper, and Mojo Nixon. His work helped define the rise of indie labels in the ’80s and ’90s through innovative marketing and distribution. He is now active in the vinyl pressing business, continuing his lifelong commitment to music.
