A special for the 606 Club’s 50th anniversary

Welcome to the latest episode of Harmonious World, where I interview musicians about how their music helps make the world more harmonious.

Check out the incredible line-up for the 606 Club’s 50th anniversary and I hope you enjoy listening in to this special episode featuring conversations with 606 club owner Steve Rubie, as well as the superb guitarists Jim Mullen, John Parricelli, Nigel Price and Rob Luft.

You can check out the JazzFM show Steve recorded and also find out more about future events at the Club.

I interviewed Steve in October 2024, Nigel in October 2025. Rob was one of my earliest guests in July 2020 and then again live in July 2024.

Thanks to Nigel and Rob for allowing me to play extracts from their latest albums alongside our conversation.

Don't forget the Quincy Jones quote that sums up why I do this: "Imagine what a harmonious world it would be if every single person, both young and old, shared a little of what he is good at doing."
