As a teenager, while recklessly driving to the Golden Gate Bridge, Allie Marie Smith felt as if her only option to move forward in life was to end it. But when a kind stranger intervened that day, she returned home with a little hope in her heart. Thus began Allie’s long journey into healing from a long, dark depression. Today, Allie is an award-winning author, speaker, podcast host, and life coach. She hopes to bring encouragement to young women facing mental health challenges and empower them to embrace the life God wants them to live. Allie also digs deep into the topic of social media - how it can play into the darkest parts of human psychology and rob us of all joy, let alone time. She says we were created for a beautiful, embodied life filled with face-to-face relationships and encourages people to live that out!
