After a young girl is found dead in a dammed-up lake, strange occurrences start to happen around the family's home.
Lake Mungo, the eerie Australian Indie found footage film, is the final movie we're discussing in Haunted Water month. Although this movie may struggle with pacing, the grainy aspects of the footage captured combined with the family trauma create such a haunting vibe that really stays with the viewer. The atmosphere is bleak and sad all the way through. The acting is excellent and the way Alice's character is portrayed is different from other ghost movies. Although it may be polarizing to different audiences, the film is original and stands out from the pack. Watch the movie and catch our review.
