In 2018, a workshop series entitled “Rent nog” [What is Clean Enough?] was organized in Sweden, focusing on the philosophical and conservation-ethical aspects regarding cleaning of art and historical surfaces. This podcast is a follow-up to the event, where Anna Henningsson, initiator of "Clean Enough", together with Marie Clausén, author of "Sacred Architecture in a Secular Age: Anamnesis of Durham Cathedral" (Routledge, 2017) reflects upon the meaning(s) that 'cleanness' and ‘dirt' can have for art and architecture.
