In this episode of Coffee and Divination, I'm joined by Leandra Witchwood — modern witch, wortcunner, herbalist, author, teacher, and founder of The Magick Kitchen podcast.

Leandra's work brings together witchcraft, herbalism, plant-spirit relationships, shadow work, divination, and decades of magical practice. She is a Master Herbalist and Reiki Master, and through The Witchwood Teahouse, she creates intentional hand-blended teas rooted in her work with plants and herbalism.

We begin with Leandra's earliest experiences with divination, as well as her path into herbalism and the practice of wortcunning. We also dive into dendromancy -- divination and communication with trees -- as well as ways of listening to the spirits of land and place.

If you're listening as this episode comes out, Leandra has several classes and offerings happening very soon — and Leandra and I will both be teaching at TempleFest in Massachusetts, September 4–7. If you're finding this episode later on, visit her website to see what she's currently teaching and offering.

A quick note on herbalism: This episode includes general discussion of herbs and herbal practices for educational and spiritual purposes only. Neither myself or Leandra are providing medical advice, and please always consult a qualified healthcare professional before using or ingesting any herbs or plants, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, have a medical condition, or take prescription medications, as herbs can have contraindications and interactions.
