In 1978, one of the greatest horror movie franchises was born. Only two years later, another one would enter the world of horror, but weirdly enough, the villain that we associate with that franchise was really just another victim in the first installment. This swerve is so famous that it even became part of another horror movie franchise, when Ghostface first asked Casey Becker, who was the killer in the first Friday the 13th movie. So, how did the franchise that would see 10 sequels, video games, comic books, a tv series and countless fan films start? Let’s head to Camp Crystal Lake and find out!
