Brad Pitt stars as Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane, who, faced with one of the smallest payrolls in baseball, challenges conventional thinking and tries to build a winning team by finding value where everyone else has overlooked it.
But Moneyball is not necessarily just a baseball movie. It is about questioning accepted wisdom, solving problems, and finding a different way to compete. Pitt and Jonah Hill give understated performances that help turn baseball statistics, trade calls, and front-office strategy into compelling drama.
