ISLET - The energy of the islands

Through the voices of Matilde Carabellese (Municipality of Procida), Alexis Chatzimpiros (Samsø Energy Academy), Maja Jurisic (Island Movement), Kostas Komninos (DAFNI) and Valerio Paolini (CNR), the podcast explores the experience gained over the project’s three years, highlighting the differences between the three island contexts. This podcast was produced as part of LIFE ISLET – Innovative Support for citizen-led Local Energy Transition, a project co-funded by the European Union’s LIFE Programme under the LIFE Clean Energy Transition 2022 call (LIFE-CET-2022), Grant Agreement No. 101120073. LIFE ISLET supports the creation of renewable energy communities on small Mediterranean islands, placing citizen participation and collaboration with local authorities at its core.
