What happens when a professional car inspector arrives at a used car dealership? Today, I'm visiting Noya Motor Group to begin a real pre-purchase vehicle inspection.
Buying a used car from a dealership can be exciting, but how do you know whether the vehicle is actually in the condition advertised?
In this video, I arrive at Noya Motor Group to carry out an independent used car inspection for a prospective buyer.
Before opening the bonnet or checking the mechanical components, there are several important things to consider, including the vehicle's presentation, available documentation, service history and general condition.
🔍 What happens when I arrive at a used car dealership?
During the initial stages of a professional pre-purchase inspection, I look at:
The vehicle's overall presentation and first impressions
Available service history and maintenance records
MOT history and recorded mileage
V5C registration document, where available
Vehicle identification number (VIN)
Number of keys and supporting documentation
Signs of previous bodywork repairs
Exterior condition and visible wear
Information provided by the dealership
Any concerns that may require closer investigation
