Correction:I mention in the podcast that "Bacon was not a trust fund baby." But in truth his mother was an heiress to a fortune from coal mining. But Bacon did not get that money. His relationship with his family was strained (it seems due to violence and anti- homosexual bigotry that he was on the receiving end of in childhood.) He may have received a small stipend from them, but not enough to live on. His early career was filled with debt.
