Where can you legally ride an adventure motorcycle in the Midwest?
It's one of the questions I hear more than almost any other, so in this Shortcut episode I'm putting everything on one map.
From public OHV trail systems to private riding parks, scenic day loops, and multi-day adventure routes, there are far more opportunities in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana than most riders realize.
In this episode, we cover:
Public OHV riding at Wayne National Forest, Pike State Forest, and White Sulphur OHV.
Private riding parks including Ride The Holler, Hidden Spring Ranch, Rush Off-Road, Wildcat, Haspin Acres, and more.
Day-trip loops and multi-day adventure routes, including the Southern Ohio Adventure Loop (SOAL), Kentucky Adventure Tour (KAT), and Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway (DBBB).
For every destination, we discuss approximately how far it is from Cincinnati, how much riding it offers, and what type of rider it's best suited for.
If you're watching on Spotify, pull up the video version to follow along as we build the map and show where every destination is located.
If we missed one of your favorite riding areas, let us know—we're always looking for new places to explore.
The ride doesn't end when the episode does. Subscribers get ad-free listening and access to the Bonus Loop, our exclusive extended discussion recorded after the main show wraps up. If you enjoy the podcast, come along for a few extra miles.
