Former Bills captain Mitch Morse fills in for Ryan Talbot and makes his trade-deadline pitch: “I’m a big DeForest Buckner guy.” Matt Parrino and Mitch break down the 5-1 Bills at the bye, including Joe Brady’s first-year job as head coach, the CJ Gardner-Johnson situation, and Keon Coleman’s turnaround.
Mitch also explains why Deone Walker has made “a leap that I have not seen in a very, very long time,” and why the Ryan Fitzpatrick vs. Aqib Talib dust-up hits close to home for him in his new media career.
In this episode:
Why Buckner fits next to Ed Oliver and Deone Walker
Jim Leonhard’s defense and what bye-week self-scouting really means
How Joe Brady handled CJ Gardner-Johnson and James Cook’s fumbles
Keon Coleman’s “Lazarus story”
Dion Dawkins, Connor McGovern and an offensive line nobody’s talking about
Mitch’s new gig on the pregame show with Chris Trapasso
