Sorath, Fifth Mehl, Second House, Chaupadas: One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
The One God is our father; we are the children of the One God. You are my Guru-brother. Hear me, O friend: my soul is a sacrifice, a sacrifice unto You; please, bless me with the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan. ||1||
Hear me, O friend: I am a sacrifice to the dust of Your feet. This mind of mine is Yours, O brother. ||Pause||
I massage and wash Your feet, and I surrender this mind to You. Hear me, O friend: I have come to Your Sanctuary; impart such teachings to me, that I may meet my Lord God. ||2||
Do not indulge in pride; surrender to His Sanctuary, and accept whatever He does as good. Hear me, O friend: dedicate your soul, mind, and body entirely; this is how the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan is obtained. ||3||
By the Grace of the Saints, the Lord's Mercy has been triggered, and His Name has become sweet. Upon servant Nanak, the Guru has showered His Kindness; he sees the Lineageless, Immaculate Lord everywhere. ||4||1||12||
