My daughter wanted to watch the new Minions movie. I pulled up the trailer to check it first — and less than two minutes in, I felt it. Witchcraft, in a preview for a film rated for six-year-olds.
I could've stopped there. Instead, I sent my daughter to camp and went to see the whole movie myself — phone notes in hand — because I wasn't going to build a public conviction on a 90-second clip.
