3.8% of U.S. adults experienced a co-occurring substance use disorder and mental illness in 2019 (9.5 million people) it took me forever to do this episode because October is a tough month for me October 9th was my Mom's one year anniversary since her passing and so I've been struggling with my emotions. I know most are afraid to even come out and say hey I need HELP 🆘 but I can't denied it ever since my Mom's passing I've been dealing with grieving and other life issues. As if loosing my Mother wasn't enough. I just want to let you guys know that Mental health is something that needs to be taken seriously and you are not alone even the strongest soldiers sometimes fall. “You don’t have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you.” Dan Millman “Emotional pain is not something that should be hidden away and never spoken about. There is truth in your pain, there is growth in your pain, but only if it’s first brought out into the open.” Steven Aitchison
