The Kings have lost their past 2 preseason games, and both of them in what I would say similar circumstances. They lack an offensive system to generate easy looks for the team and their defense isn't up to task to stop the other team from lighting them up from 3.
But from the Lakers game to Warriors game the Kings got some of their rotation guys left, namely Ben Simmons and Keegan Murray. And when they playing, all of sudden pieces started falling into place of how Doug presumably wants his team to play, multiple initiators on offense and length and athleticism on the defensive end.
It is the preseason, where teams are trying to ease their players back into the game so until the team is at full strength, it's hard to truly judge what this team is and/or is supposed to be.
