Day 1 of the 2026 NBA Draft is in the books and the Kings had an eventful day.

They get the guy that has been linked to the Kings for a while now in Darius Acuff Jr. He will likely serve as the franchise player for the Kings going forward and will usher in this new era for the Kings.

They also added some shooting at the forward spot with Alex Karaban from the Cavs at the end of the 1st round and now things are taking shape for the Kings going into next season.
