Southern sleaze-metal veterans Dangerous Toys might not have released a new album in 30 years (although they promise there’s one on its way), but that hasn’t stopped them from establishing themselves among the most ferocious live bands on the circuit right now, while an avid following remains as rabid as ever. Time, then, to break the silence with Demolition, a brain melting compilation of 10 tracks, all previously unreleased and recorded during the hiatus between the band’s second and third albums, 1991’s Hellacious Acres and 1994’s Pissed - arguably, the peak of the original band’s activities. It wasn’t easy selecting the contents. The band had some 70 new songs to choose from as they pieced together Pissed, almost everyone banged down on tape within days of the original idea being brought into the jam rom.
