Maybe he doesn’t go to church, initiate prayer, read the Bible, or seem interested in growing spiritually - and you’ve started wondering what those behaviors say about his relationship with God.
In this episode, I’m sharing a deeply personal part of my own marriage and challenging the way we sometimes interpret our husband’s faith through the behaviors we can see. We’ll talk about the difference between observation and interpretation, why outward spiritual practices don’t always tell us what we think they do, and how to discern what’s actually happening without lowering your biblical standards or taking responsibility for your husband’s relationship with God.
You’ll also learn a simple three-question framework to help you separate what you actually know from the story you may have attached to it - so you can respond with more wisdom, confidence, peace, and grace.
