Worship, sabbath, and praise as a way of justice and life. When we pause to rest, we are allowing God to act. Rest is a form of resistance to the machine of productivity and an invitation to us to hear God’s Spirit that would lead us into loving action for our neighbors. Rest admits that we are not the primary ones bringing justice.
