This week in Scottish History, saw the disaster of the sinking of HMS Otranto.

This would be the second American Troop ship that would sink off the coast of the Island of Islay in 1918.

Hundreds of dead American soldiers, and one small island, off the West coast of Scotland.

This episode tells the stories of both ships, the American lives lost and the monument by which we remember them.
