In 2026 Chris Thrall was the last person to stand on top of Mount Everest - in perfect conditions, after an easy summit climb and with plenty of oxygen. What could possibly go wrong ...? Within hours both sherpas had dissapeared without saying a word and left Chris fighting in the Death Zone whilst rescuing a fellow climber with no oxygen, no head torch and severe frost bite.
