Today marks the **25th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks**.
For those of us who remember that day, some moments never really leave you. We remember where we were. We remember the fear, the anger, the heartbreak, and the extraordinary sense that, for a moment, Americans were simply Americans.
**We never forgot. And we will never forget.**
Today, the Home Team will take some time to remember September 11th, the lives that were lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families and communities that were changed forever.
Then we’ll turn to the news of the day, because apparently humanity remains committed to keeping things interesting.
What’s really going on with **OpenAI and artificial intelligence**? Are AI systems beginning to self-organize in ways we don’t fully understand? And, naturally, the comforting Friday-morning question: **Are the robots going to kill us all in ten years?**
