Izzy Briggs N603TB/LN-DDD Defiant - Interview Not yet Recorded

This episode of Canardcast is about a very hard working member of our staff.  He continues to add value to our Coba community.  Its fun to put the shoe on the other foot and to interview our host, Izzy Briggs.   

Izzy lives with his wife Olga of 20 years in Sanford, Maine where he owns and operates BlackSky Composites with his partner Michael Doucet. Izzy is the father of four children, and three grandchildren. Molly 31, Adam 29, Ivan 19 and Stephen 17. Molly graduated from Cincinnati University with a degree in Genetic Science. Adam also lives in Cincinnati and cares for his mother. Ivan, 19 is also a canard pilot as well as a Multi-Engine Commercial instrument rated pilot attending his Senior year at Embry Riddle University for a degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is currently flying glider at Skylark North in Tehachapi California. And finally, Izzy's son Stephen is pursuing a career as a professional soccer player and is attending Spain Soccer Academy in Seville Spain. Stephen plays for his Academy as well as on a Spanish National Club team while attending his Senior year at Spanish public school.

Izzy owns two Rutan Defiants, N603TB as well as LN-RTI currently registered in Norway. He also owns Cozy N244CZ and cares for Harley Dixon's LongEze N28AZ. His business specializes in Aircraft Repair and Modifications, High Altitude research, Experimental Test Flight Services and Commercial UAV manufacturing. He hosts an annual Canard Condition Inspection clinic annually in August at his R&D facility at Sanford Municipal Airport of Maine.
