The Galaxy's favorite red head

Mara Jade remains one of the most iconic characters in Star Wars Legends—the Emperor’s Hand, elite assassin, and the red‑haired force sent by Palpatine to kill Luke Skywalker after the Battle of Endor. Instead, she became a Jedi, Luke’s wife, the mother of his son, and one of the most beloved Expanded Universe heroes. She even wielded a purple lightsaber long before Mace Windu made it famous.

In this episode of War of the Stars: A Star Wars Podcast, Mark, Garrett, and Brian explore Mara Jade’s full character history, her evolution across the EU novels, our favorite headcanon, and who we think should play her if Disney‑Lucasfilm ever brings her into live‑action. If you love Star Wars Legends, Jedi lore, or Luke Skywalker’s story, this is the episode for you.

Listen and Share your Mara Jade moment.
