Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing a fresh round of criticism from British commentators questioning their royal status, public appearances and financial future.

In The Times, Shaun Watson offers a satirical guide to spotting a “Real Working Royal” versus a “Fake Royal,” targeting the Sussexes' interviews, lifestyle products, family photographs and attempts to maintain a royal public profile.

The Guardian's Emma Brockes goes further, comparing Harry's recent GQ interview and public appearances to David Brent from The Office. Meanwhile, Australian columnist Daniela Elser questions how the Sussexes will continue funding their expensive lifestyle, suggesting a documentary about Princess Diana could be Harry's next major commercial success.
New anonymous-source reports also claim Meghan enjoyed comparisons with Kate Middleton following her Nottingham visit, while another account alleges the Princess of Wales has reached her breaking point over Harry and Meghan's return to Britain. Neither account establishes what Catherine privately thinks.

And in a lighter story, personalized British license plates resembling Harry and Meghan's names have reportedly sold for approximately $8,000 combined.
