What would you do if an innocent Instagram Story accidentally exposed someone’s cheating partner?

A 21-year-old man posted a group photo from his friend’s birthday dinner, only to receive a DM from a complete stranger asking about a man in the background. She recognised him as her boyfriend, who had told her he was overseas on a work trip.

But where does his responsibility end? Should he answer her questions and help her piece together what happened or stay completely out of a relationship that isn't his?
