Malaysia’s political landscape is shifting after Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional scored a commanding victory in the Negeri Sembilan state election, ending Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s Pakatan Harapan coalition’s eight-year hold on the state.

The result follows earlier setbacks for PH in Sabah and Johor and has raised fresh questions over Anwar’s political standing as Malaysia moves closer to its next General Election.
