First up DC’s new Lanterns trailer gives us a deeper look at both the criminal and cosmic stakes as Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler - Friday Night Lights, Godzilla Kong of the Monsters) attempts to train future lantern Jon Stewart (Aaron Pierre - Rebel Ridge, Mufasa: The Lion King) as an even greater threat - the Manhunters - looms its ugly head… from show runners Damon Lindeloff (Watchmen), Chris Mundy (Ozark), and Tom King (Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow) the cast also includes Nathan Fillion (Superman, Firefly) as Guy Gardner, along with Laura Linney (Ozark), Kelly Macdonald (No Country for Old Men), Garret Dillahunt (Deadwood), and MORE!

Next we turn our eyes toward Marvel reacting to the Wolverine Story Trailer revealed at SDCC 2026! Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 trailer gives us a deeper look at Logan’s past, his connection to Jean Grey and Team X, and his violent battles against Lady Deathstrike, Omega Red, The Hand, the Reavers and Bolivar Trask’s Sentinels. We discuss the Weapon X imagery, Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton, the darker and more graphic combat, and the game’s mix of emotional storytelling, horror and brutal action. They also react to Jean Grey attempting to reach Logan, Lady Deathstrike preparing for battle, Omega Red’s appearance and the possibility of Wolverine rejoining Team X.

After that, Greg & John Give their reaction to Zach Cregger’s full Resident Evil Official Trailer - bringing the survival horror of Raccoon City back to the big screen with Austin Abrams (Euphoria, Whalefall). They break down Austin Abrams’ journey toward Raccoon City General, the abandoned farmhouse, the ominous phone call, the search for shotgun shells, the typewriter save reference, and the game-inspired use of fixed camera angles and over-the-shoulder shots.

And finally we react to the first trailer for Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol, the new Paramount Pictures film from Ti West, director of X, Pearl, MaXXXine, and The House of the Devil. Johnny Depp stars as Ebenezer Scrooge, returning to a major Hollywood leading role after performances in Pirates of the Caribbean, Edward Scissorhands, & more. The cast also features Ian McKellen (The Lord of the Rings, X-Men) as Jacob Marley, Rupert Grint (Harry Potter, Servant) as Bob Cratchit, and Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games, Me Before You) as Scrooge’s nephew Fred. The film arrives in theaters November 13, 2026.
