Jackie Bonsignore & Paige Kimsey continue their first-time MCU journey with a Captain America: The Winter Soldier reaction and full movie review! Steve Rogers is still adjusting to the modern world when a conspiracy inside S.H.I.E.L.D. forces him to question everything—and brings him face-to-face with the mysterious Winter Soldier. Jackie & Paige react to Nick Fury’s car chase, the elevator fight, Falcon’s debut, the highway knife flip, the HYDRA reveal, “Who the hell is Bucky?,” and the events that help set up Captain America: Civil War and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man introduction!

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame), Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America (Snowpiercer, Knives Out), Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Lost in Translation, Marriage Story), Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Thunderbolts*), Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon (The Hurt Locker, Twisted Metal), Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury (Pulp Fiction, The Incredibles), and Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, All the President’s Men).

After the reaction, Jackie & Paige discuss the movie’s political-thriller style, Steve and Natasha’s partnership, Bucky’s tragic transformation, the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Russo Brothers’ action direction, and why The Winter Soldier remains one of the MCU’s most celebrated films.
