Episode 267 - SAGE

On this episode of the You Make The Scene Podcast, I sat down with the guys in SAGE for a conversation about the band’s beginnings, finding their identity, and the work that went into their EP, Heartwired.

We talked about how SAGE came together and the process of defining a sound that feels distinctly their own. The conversation also dives into their experience working with PINKNOISE, how that collaboration has helped shape their music, and what they’ve learned as the band has continued to develop.

A big part of our conversation centered around Heartwired, from the writing process to getting into the studio and bringing the songs to life. We talked about how the EP represents SAGE at this point in their journey, the ideas and experiences that influenced it, and what went into turning those ideas into a finished release.
