In January 2021, 39-year-old mother of three Maya Millete disappeared from her Chula Vista, California home just days before a planned family trip to celebrate her oldest daughter’s birthday. Her loved ones immediately knew something was wrong.
As investigators began retracing Maya’s final days, they uncovered a marriage in crisis, plans for divorce, increasingly troubling behavior from her husband Larry Millete, and a bizarre trail of messages involving spell casters.
