Nicholas W. Gentile applies the idea of intercultural theology (to connect the appropriation, adaptation, and application of religious teachings from one party to another) to the Anti-Nephi-Lehis in the Book of Mormon. Gentile gives the ANLs center stage, connecting their diverse experience to current followers of Christ with diverse backgrounds.
