The crew discusses Jack Daniel Distillery has announced the nationwide U.S. release of Jack Daniel’s American Single Malt Whiskey, a limited expression that was previously available exclusively in select duty-free retail locations around the world.
The release arrives as American Single Malt becomes an officially recognized whiskey category, marking the first new official whiskey category recognized by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) in more than 50 years. Made with 100% malted barley and finished in Oloroso Sherry casks, the whiskey offers notes of dark chocolate, nuts, berries and a subtle sweetness.
Available nationwide for a limited time and in limited quantities, the 90-proof whiskey comes in a 1-liter bottle for a suggested retail price of $74.99.
