This week, a band we’ve featured and often discussed on the show finally gets their due! Therefore, we give you part 1 of a “…Shoulda Been Huge!!!” episode for Halifax, NS, Canada’s very own: SLOAN. The quintessential Canadian power-pop act—that blends '70s hard rock riffs, Beatles-esque vocal harmonies, and indie rock grit that has won them gold albums and a Juno in their home country. We think it is a grave mistake that they are not as revered everywhere in the world!

This episode is rooted in our Should Have Been category. This is a band that Kevin has been a fan of since discovering their first album back in 1993. Robert is less familiar with their impressive discography, so join him if this is an unknown for you. We think they should be remembered alongside the likes of other Canadian treasures like RUSH and TRIUMPH!
