Maul is working his manipulation on Devon by first inviting her to a tea party, and when she violently refuses, he says he can work with her anger too, and challenges her to a fight. Through frustration of not being able to do a thing against him, Devon gets angry and begins slipping down the slippery slope into darkness....just as he has forseen. And where have we heard that before?
