This is a story that illustrates the age old moral value that "Known is a drop and Unknown is an Ocean" or as they say in Tamizh - "கற்றது கை மண் அளவு, கல்லாதது உலகளவு"
We are very grateful to the editorial team of the Sanskrit Monthly Magazine "Sambhashana Sandesha" for allowing us to use this story that was featured in the children section of one of the issues of their magazine. "Sambhashana Sandesha" is a monthly magazine published by Samskrita Bharati - an almost 40 year old organisation that focusses on the propagation of Sanskrit as a commoner's language. Through their network of offices and volunteers, they endeavour to reach Sanskrit and its embedded knowledge systems to whomsover interested to learn it.
They offer some very interesting courses to learn Sanskrit through Face 2 face workshops, and also correspondence courses. You can find more details about all of their work at this website - https://samskritabharati.in/about_bharti
