Jordan Luke Gage is back In The Frame to talk about some very special news... his debut musical Redcliffe is transferring to the West End!

Jordan is the writer and star of Redcliffe, which is transferring to the Criterion Theatre following its sold-out premiere at Southwark Playhouse. In this very special episode, Jordan joins us to discuss the exciting news about the show’s next chapter!

With book, music and lyrics by Jordan, Redcliffe tells the true story of William Critchard and Richard Arnold, two men who fell in love in 18th-century Bristol at a time when homosexuality was criminalised. Following workshop performances at The Other Palace and Turbine Theatre, Redcliffe made its fully staged world premiere at Southwark Playhouse Borough this year, with Jordan starring as William.

Jordan’s stage credits include Marilyn in Taboo (Brixton Clubhouse), Strat in Bat Out of Hell (Dominion Theatre), Romeo in & Juliet (Manchester Opera House and Shaftesbury Theatre), JD in Heathers (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Clyde Barrow in Bonnie & Clyde (Arts Theatre and Garrick Theatre), Cal in Titaníque (Criterion Theatre) and JD in Thelma and Louise (Young Vic).

His concert credits include The Light in the Piazza (Alexandra Palace Theatre), Bat Boy and Bare (London Palladium). Jordan has also taken part in numerous workshops of new musicals. In 2022, he performed two sold-out solo shows at HERE at Outernet. On screen, Jordan has appeared in Cilla(ITV), Cucumber (Channel 4) and How Not to Disappear Completely, and starred as a series regular in Sky’s Royal Kill List.

In this episode, Jordan shares how he’s feeling about Redcliffe's West End transfer, reflects on the journey so far, gives an update on the cast album and discusses his recent run in Thelma & Louise.
