Sara Poyzer is starring as Donna in the West End production of Mamma Mia!.


She has played the role on-and-off for fifteen years, both in London and on tour across the UK and internationally. Mamma Mia! celebrated its 27th birthday in April and is the third longest-running West End musical of all time.


Sara starred as Beverley Bass in the first UK & Ireland tour of Come From Away, and has recently appeared on screen as Fiona Morley in Coronation Street. Her theatre credits also include: Assassins (Watermill Theatre), Rutherford & Son (The Other Palace), Othello (Trafalgar Studios), Billy Elliot The Musical (Victoria Palace), Forever Young and All Quiet on the Western Front (Nottingham Playhouse), Abigail’s Party (Theatre Royal, York), Satin in Satin ‘n’ Steel (Nottingham Playhouse & UK Tour), Up n Under (Hull Truck), The House of Bernada Alba (Yvonne Arnaud) as well as The School for Scandal, The Merchant of Venice, Antigone and Poetry or Bust (Northern Broadsides).


On screen, Sara has appeared in Casualty, EastEnders, Doctors, Cast Offs, Paradise Reclaimed, Heartbeat, Dangerfield, Playing the Field, Peak Practice and ODDinary People.
